In order to provide more opportunities for the diverse clientele who come seeking a Course in Hospitality Operations at the College, Lantana launched a One-year Certificate Course in Basic Hospitality Operations.
We offer a two-year comprehensive training in food and beverage production, food and beverage service, front office, Accommodation and laundry service. The basic requirement for enrollment in to the programme is 5 credits in addition to a minimum of a passes in English and Mathematics. Hostel accommodations are provided for the students in this programme. This programme is highly practical as the student are assigned to different sections to practice what they have been taught during the theory classes and an assessor, following the National Skills Programme curriculum, is assigned to monitor their progress.
Upon completion of the 2-year programme, the students proceed to a 6-months industrial attachment in a reputable hospitality organization to integrate into a Professional environment and thus put into practice what they have learnt.
