 To empower young girls with the skills and expertise needed to be effective in the hospitality career and to help women to acquire a professional approach in the running of the home.

Lantana College of Hospitality is a Project of Women’s Board Educational Cooperation Society; a not-for-profit, non-governmental Organization in Nigeria.

The College believes that skills training and personality development are two essentials for raising the standards and improving the quality-of-service delivery in the society.
Lantana gives a professional training to young girls, equipping them with the skills and expertise needed to be effective in the Hospitality Career. The students as a result are able to gain employment easily, in the growing Hospitality Industry in the Country, and take advantage of entrepreneurial
opportunities.

Brief History of our College

1995 The college started in rented premises as a Centre for professional training for young women interested in developing their skills in the hospitality field.

2011 The college moved to its permanent site which is located at Plot P/23H; along Federal Secretariat Road, Inside Campus 3 Independence layout, Enugu.

Feb 2012 The inauguration of the college took place.

Nov 2012 The college received the approval of the Enugu State Government.

2013 The college is an approved centre for National Technical Certificate (NTC)
Examinations conducted by National Business and Technical Examination Board
(NABTEB).

2018 The college was approved a Centre for National Skill Qualification (NSQ); a certificate recognized nationally and internationally, awarded by the Institute for Tourism professionals (ITP).

2020 The College gets approval as an NSQ Centre for an Awarding Body of International standards, Quality Vocational Skills Empowerment (QVSE).

2021 The College became an approved Centre for N-power, a Federal Government
initiative for Skills acquisition in key sectors of Nigerian Economy.
